How it works

Three steps, and none of them changes your Qlik.

Installs as an extension

A browser extension, installed from the Chrome Web Store or deployed by IT through policy, and activated with your organization's key. It does not touch the Qlik server, needs no installation there and does not change any app.

Ask on the Qlik screen

The assistant opens next to your dashboard. You ask in English, Portuguese or Spanish, about the open app, about the sheet on screen, or crossing it with other available apps.

Get the number with its source

The answer shows the filter it applies to and says whether the number came from a master measure built by your BI team or from a formula written on the spot.

The answer without opening a ticket

Ask in your language, on the screen you were already on, with the filter you had already applied. Your organization can set the language of the answers.
Ask with different filters and calculations, and the chat tells you what it used, always giving priority to master items.
Crosses apps in the same question, saying which app each number came from.
Understands the open sheet: "summarize the main numbers on this screen".
Draws the chart right in the conversation, with download as an image and as a spreadsheet.
Takes the answer with you, filter in the header: copy, CSV or PDF.

What it does not do

The part that usually settles the conversation with IT. These are not temporary limitations: they are architecture decisions.

It does not copy your data. The extension queries the Qlik Engine, in your browser, in your session. Our server never talks to your Qlik and has no credentials for it. The model receives metadata and aggregated results, never the source table.
It respects your Section Access. Because it uses your session, you get from Cub AI exactly what you could already see on your own in Qlik. Not one row more.
It does not store questions or answers on our servers. The record is of counts and cost, so your organization can track usage. The conversation stays only in your browser's memory, never written to disk: it survives a page reload and disappears when you close the browser, after 10 hours or when someone else signs in to Qlik, and the clear button deletes it right away.
It does not use your questions to train models. Cub AI uses the paid Google Gemini API, under which the provider does not use the content to improve its products. Our database and our servers are in Brazil; the model processes in a global region, under the ANPD standard contractual clauses. The details are in the privacy notice.
It does not make up numbers. Every value comes from a query to the Engine made on the spot. When it cannot determine a number, it says so.
It does not touch your selections. It reads the filter on screen and never changes it while you work.
It does not break down what identifies a person. Your organization defines which fields, such as employee number or CPF (the Brazilian taxpayer ID), and Cubotimize registers them. From then on the service refuses any calculation that uses them. It is a refusal in code, not an instruction to the assistant.
